What is in the Mocha Maven Box?
Each seasonal Mocha Maven Box is a thoughtfully curated collection of products hand-picked for Black women. Each box will contain at least 6 items that will vary from box to box, so you will never receive the same types of items twice. Boxes will feature items ranging from beauty, bath, and hair products, home and office décor, jewelry, fashion accessories, and other lifestyle items that fit the theme of that seasons box. Mocha Maven boxes will also introduce great Black-owned brands that you’re sure to love!
Why is the Mocha Maven Box $75?
Mocha Maven wanted to bring you great full-sized beauty and lifestyle items you are sure to love! That’s why we send one larger quarterly box instead of 3 smaller monthly boxes. Unlike other subscription boxes, you won’t be receiving different versions of the same small items each month (no samples!), but rather a larger curated experience. All of this for less than $25/month with the founders discount!

How does the Mocha Maven subscription box work?
The Mocha Maven Box is shipped four times per year. Your card is charged on the first day of each shipping month. There are no contracts or fees. You are free to cancel your seasonal subscription box any time after your first box has been shipped.
There is also a prepaid annual subscription option. You can save $20 by purchasing a full year membership instead of being charged season by season.
Which non-profit organizations will Mocha Maven donate profits to?
Mocha Maven will announce the non-profit organization that we will be donating to prior to the release of each box on our social media so make sure to follow us! We will also include an insert in each box with more information about the organization that will be benefitting from that season’s box!
Do I customize the contents of my boxes?
Sometimes there may be opportunities to select item variations where you can select your preferred color, size or item. If variations are available you will be prompted to make your selections via e-mail. So, please add us to your address book to avoid missing these emails.
When will my card be charged?
Your card is charged up front when you join. This pays for your first box. The subsequent recharge dates for future boxes are as follows:
Spring: March 1
Summer: June 1
Fall: September 1
Winter: December 1
Seasonal Mocha Maven Subscriptions are charged on the date you sign up, then automatically on the standard seasonal rebill cycle date (each, a “Subscription”) unless cancelled by you.
The Annual Mocha Maven Box Membership is charged on the date you sign up, then will renew at the annual price on the standard rebill cycle date corresponding with the renewal season of your subscription until cancelled by you.

How do you ship boxes each quarter?
Mocha Maven Boxes are shipped by USPS. Once your order is shipped you will receive a shipping confirmation with a tracking number. Please note your box will be delivered without signature confirmation. It is the customer’s responsibility to ensure their box can be delivered and left unattended without signing for it upon delivery. Mocha Maven is not liable for boxes stolen or lost in transit.
How much does shipping cost?
Mocha Maven is proud to offer FREE shipping to all of our subscription box customers.
What countries do you ship to?
At this time, we can only ship to the United States, but we are working to be able include other countries in future. Send us an email (email@example.com) and let us know what country you would like us to start shipping to!
How do I track my shipment?
As soon as we ship your Mocha Maven Box, you will receive an email with the tracking number. Check your spam filters to make sure you don’t miss your email notification. The Mocha Maven Box can take up to 14 business days to reach your door.
It says my Mocha Maven Box has been delivered but I have not received it. What now?
In the case that your Mocha Maven Box does not arrive, please email us at firstname.lastname@example.org within 2 weeks of receiving your tracking information, and let us investigate for you! Any re-issued boxes are granted at the sole discretion of Mocha Maven, and we are not responsible for boxes shipped to incorrect addresses, or lost or stolen in transit.
What payment methods do you accept?
We accept VISA, Mastercard, Discover or American Express credit cards, or debit cards as payment for rebillable subscription orders. Unfortunately, we’re not able to accept checks, money orders, gift cards, or PayPal, or link routing numbers to your account.
Are payments secured?
Like most trustworthy websites, we use SSL technology (Secure Socket Layer) to protect your personal information when it's being sent over the Internet. SSL is the standard for payments over the Internet and is supported by Chrome, Firefox, Microsoft Internet Explorer, Safari and other popular browsers. We use this technology to encrypt sensitive information before it is sent over the Internet. SSL technology prevents your information from being accessed when you are submitting it.
What if any of my items arrived damaged or is the wrong size?
Please email us at email@example.com within 7 days of receiving the damaged or incorrect item and include photographs of the damaged products, and we will make it right. Unfortunately, after 7 days from the date your box has been delivered, we will not replace the item.
My box was returned to you. Will you reship it?
If your Mocha Maven Box is returned back to us, we will issue a refund to you and your box will not be reshipped. Any changes to your mailing address MUST be made prior to rebilling. Whatever address is on file at the time of renewal on the 1st is the address your box will be shipped to. To verify your address or make updates you can contact us at firstname.lastname@example.org and we update your address for you.
What if I don’t like something in my Mocha Maven Box?
Although we cannot accept returns for items in your Mocha Maven box, we absolutely want to hear from you about what you like and don't like. Email us at email@example.com and tell us what you didn't love. Your feedback will help us to make improvements, and make our box the best it can be! Items in our boxes also make great gifts!
How do I cancel my subscription?
Subscribers can cancel any time and there are no cancellation fees. In order to cancel your subscription, please contact us at firstname.lastname@example.org
All cancellations will apply to future charges. Charges already incurred cannot be refunded. You are welcome to restart your subscription at anytime!
Can I update my quarterly subscription to an annual subscription?
Yes! We would be happy to upgrade you! Just send us an email at email@example.com to upgrade your subscription.
Do you accept returns?
All purchases are final sale and nonrefundable, and any box returned by a customer, all or in part, will not be eligible for a refund.
I have a IG/Blog/YouTube Channel and would like to review the Mocha Maven Box. Can I receive a box to review?
